Getac Holdings Chairman James Hwang Recognized in HBR Taiwan Top 100 Best-Performing Business Leaders for the Third Consecutive Time
Getac Holdings Corporation announced that Chairman James Hwang has once again been named to the Taiwan Top 100 Best-Performing Business Leaders by Harvard Business Review, marking his third consecutive appearance on the biennial ranking. The recognition underscores his outstanding leadership in guiding Getac to deliver sustained revenue growth, strengthen operational resilience, and advance sustainable corporate development amid a rapidly evolving global geopolitical and economic landscape.
Since 2016, Harvard Business Review has conducted the Taiwan Top 100 Best-Performing Business Leaders survey every two years to recognize leaders of Taiwan's most representative publicly listed companies. The ranking primarily evaluates executives based on their long-term business performance during their tenure, using key financial indicators such as market capitalization growth, cumulative total shareholder return, and average annual earnings per share. ESG performance is also incorporated to assess companies' overall achievements in economic performance, corporate governance, and sustainability. In the 2024 ranking, for example, the combined market capitalization of companies led by the Top 100 Best-Performing Business Leaders reached NT$42.98 trillion, representing 66.4% of the total market capitalization of Taiwan-listed companies, reflecting the ranking's significance and influence in Taiwan's capital market.

Under Chairman James Hwang’s leadership, Getac Holdings has achieved 13 consecutive years of revenue growth. Despite uncertainties arising from geopolitical developments, foreign exchange fluctuations, and the ongoing restructuring of global supply chains, the Company reported record-high revenue, net income, and earnings per share in 2025, all posting double-digit year-over-year growth compared with 2024. These results demonstrate the sustained growth momentum generated by the Company's long-term strategy and diversified business portfolio.
Getac Holdings' business portfolio includes the Getac rugged computing brand, mechatronic and energy solutions, integrated mechanical components, and automotive components. As industries continue to evolve alongside rapid advances in AI technologies, the Company remains focused on strengthening differentiated technologies across its business segments, optimizing its product portfolio and customer mix, and enhancing global manufacturing and market deployment to improve resilience against geopolitical risks and market volatility. Getac continues to expand its portfolio of rugged AI PCs and edge AI solutions by integrating on-device AI computing capabilities into rugged devices designed for mission-critical applications in public safety, utilities, and industrial manufacturing, enabling customers to capitalize on the growing demand for digital transformation and intelligent operations.
Beyond financial performance, Getac Holdings continues to integrate ESG considerations into its corporate strategy and business decision-making. In 2025, the Company maintained its ranking within the top 6%–20% of Taiwan-listed companies in the Corporate Governance Evaluation. It also achieved Management Level B ratings in both the CDP Climate Change and Water Security assessments. In addition, its TIP Taiwan Sustainability Rating was upgraded from AA to AAA (Top 5%), while its MSCI ESG Rating improved from BBB to A, demonstrating the Company's ongoing commitment to enhancing corporate governance, environmental stewardship, and social responsibility in response to the growing sustainability expectations of global customers and capital markets.
Commenting on the recognition, Chairman James Hwang said, "Being recognized in Harvard Business Review Taiwan's Top 100 Best-Performing Business Leaders for the third consecutive time is a meaningful recognition of the long-term dedication and collective efforts of the entire Getac management team. In today's rapidly changing global environment, we focus not only on driving revenue and profit growth, but also on building an organization capable of adapting to change, responding effectively to risks, and creating sustainable long-term value. Looking ahead, Getac will continue to strengthen its core businesses, accelerate technological innovation, expand its AI strategy, and enhance global operational resilience. We will also continue embedding sustainability into our corporate governance and business decisions to create lasting positive value for our customers, shareholders, employees, and society."
